A view of the resort from out on the lake.

Here is the view of the lake, looking in a South-westerly direction.
The lake consists of 680 acres, 5 islands four of which you may explore the other is protected,
a maximum depth of 28'-30', an average depth of 10'-12', it is a mile and a half long(N/S) by
a mile wide (E/W), almost 6 miles of shoreline to fish and less than 40% of that has been developed
on this class "A" lake.
This is a quality Musky, Walleye, Northern, Perch, Crappie and misc. panfish, that produces
some fantastic catch & release photo opportunities, as well as great mounts.

A view of the playground and lake from in front of the Alaskan cabin.
The playground is located in plain view of both the Kodiak & Alaskan cabins.
The surface of the playground consists of an 18" depth of washed beach sand
that not only serves as a safety surface but also doubles as a place to play for hours
creating sand art by both kids and adults alike.

Here is the view looking North across the resort lake-frontage.
There is plenty of space to enjoy the sunsets from across the lake sitting on one of our log swings
or from a lawn chair. Room for the kids to explore and play games.
Note the fire-pit in the foreground where many fishing/ghostly tales have been told,
friendships and S'mores have been made and enjoyed for years.
The lack of any city lights allow the Northern lights and Shooting stars to be seen when the
conditions are favorable, including the occasional special celestial events.

We have approximately 10 acres located on the Northeast shore of Buckskin Lake, a natural
spring-fed lake of 650 acres. Our beautiful lake has 5 islands (4 of which can be explored/camped on)
and less than 40% of our shoreline has been developed, so it is quite pristine. Walleye, Musky, Northern,
Bass, Large Perch, and many species of Panfish are found in our lake.

Our cabins are completely equipped for housekeeping except personal towels. All bedding and cooking
utensils are furnished. All cottages have showers, gas heat and stoves for cooking, refrigerators and toasters.
A boat, pier space with 110v, picnic table, lawn chairs, and a kettle type grill. are furnished with each cottage.
We have a clean, well lit area for you to clean your catch, as well as freezer space to store your catch.

We have an excellent picnic area with a campfire pit, horeshoe pits, swim raft for the young and old (no drop-off)
and a large sand lot/playground (very visible). You can go horseback riding nearby, or in season pick your own strawberries,
or just go for a drive on some scenic/rustic roads to nearby, less visited attractions ie... most recently built covered bridge,
or to Timm's Hill and lookout (the highest point in Wisconsin), or maybe you'd like to take your camera and head out to the
Concrete park and museum (very unique). Or maybe you like the motorized sports, there are hundreds of miles ATV trails,
and SNOWMOBILE trails to your door.

Lac Du Flambeau is about 5 miles away, where there are Indian Ceremonies, an Indian Museum, Pow Wows,
a casino and bingo hall. Minocqua is about 10 minutes away (11 miles) where there are plenty of unique shops
to browse in, and very fine restaurants, casual supper clubs, dinner theatres, etc... to dine at.
Also close by are many great golf courses, or maybe you'd like to see one of the many waterski shows,
or a lumberjack show, in nearby Lake Tomahawk there is a one of a kind Snowshoe baseball game played
every Monday evening from Memorial day to Labor day.
There is much, much, more to do, but you've got to get here first

Our cottages are situated among large Pine, White Birch, Oak, and Maple trees.
There is plenty of open space for the breeze to blow and to just relax and watch the beautiful sunsets daily.
